Nestor Shanahan Auctioneers are a family run business founded by Louis Nestor (M.I.A.V.I.), Louis is one of the longest serving member c.50 years with the Irish Auctioneers & Valuers Institute and later past president of Old Crescent Rugby Club for 3 years. Joined by son Brian Nestor (M.I.P.A.V.) who is well known throughout Limerick City and is a keen rugby supporter having played rugby with Old Crescent and Garryowen, both father and son have over 80 years expirence in their Profession. Being one of the longest established and most respected firms in Limerick, Nestor Shanahan Auctioneers hold an abundance of experience and knowledge of the property market.
Our family name " Nestor " is also well known throughout Ireland and England as former Nestors Sport Shop, O' Connell Street, Limerick Est 1856.
Our offices are conveniently situated just off O’Connell Street and we are fully bonded members with the Institute of Professional Auctioneers & Valuers and the Irish Auctioneers & Valuers of Ireland.
